Business Moving After 50 Years In Downtown Utica

"50 years in one location is a long time." That's one of the reasons why Cindy Miller, owner of Empire Kitchen & Bath says it's time to move.

Empire Kitchen & Bath has been in downtown Utica for 5 decades."Our lease is up and if we plan to move the location of our business, now is the time."

The new location for Empire Kitchen and Bath will be in the Marcy Town Center behind the Dunkin Donuts on River Road. The business will officially open at the new location on January 2, 2018.

Business at Empire Kitchen & Bath has struggled for a few years. "It was a difficulty dealing with the new bridge and construction in downtown Utica," says Miller. "The prospect of dealing with another massive construction project that would go on for the foreseeable future made the decision to move to a new location pretty easy once you stop and think about it."
