Buffalo Bills Owner Ralph Wilson Dies at 95 [VIDEO]
Ralph Wilson, the owner and founder of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills has died at the age of 95.
Wilson founded the Bills in 1960 and has overseen the team’s operations since retiring on January 1, 2013, and handing control of the team to Russ Brandon.
Wilson saw his team to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances from 1990-1994.
He was a founding owner of the American Football League with the Bills in 1960, and before that was a minority owner of the NFL’s Detroit Lions.
Born in Detroit in 1918, Wilson attended the University of Virginia and served in the US Navy during WWII.
Wilson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
