One of my favorite bars out of Albany is making a trip to Utica for Utica On Tap. Browns Brewing will be bringing their Oatmeal Stout for you to sample.

Browns Brewing Company turned from idea, to reality, back in 1993. Owners Garry and Kelly Brown had a vision to turn a 150 year-old warehouse into a fully operational craft brewery.

Our friends now brew over 25 different styles of ales and lagers throughout the year and serve over a dozen beers on tap at any one time. For Utica on Tap we can enjoy the Oatmeal Stout:

According to the Association of Brewers, the world’s finest Oatmeal Stout is brewed in Troy, NY by Brown’s Brewing Company. Brown’s Oatmeal Stout took home a Gold Medal at the World Beer Cup held in San Diego, April 2004 – perhaps the most prestigious beer judging event in the world. Malts: Two Row Pale, Black, Chocolate, Flaked Rolled Oats, Caramel Hops: Willamette 5.25% a.b.v."

You can still get your tickets for Utica on Tap here.
