House lights down.  Sound - mic one, go.  Spotlight full, center stage - Derek Clark, Broadway Theatre League Executive Director:

“This is an incredible program that will allow Broadway Utica to give back to the community and partner with our Broadway productions to raise awareness, donations, and funding to be shared with community groups in the Mohawk Valley.” (Derek Clark-Broadway Utica)

Broadway Theatre League of Utica has a new mission - to increase awareness and support causes within the community.  And these causes mirror the messages of the musicals they present.

"If I can use the message of one of our Broadway shows to make a positive impact on someone’s life, to initiate conversation, or raise money for a cause that’s important to our community, the possibilities are endless.” (Derek Clark-Broadway Utica)

The new community charity fund is called "Broadway Utica Cares All - A Pledge for Purpose".  To find out more about how they've gotten involved in our community, click here.
