Do you remember what that is? It's the sunshine. Yes, we're going to spend the weekend with it! Slather on the sunscreen and get outside and enjoy it because we don't know when we'll see it again.

1. Go to the Oneida Country Fair in Boonville

This weekend you won't be sloshing around in the mud with all this sunshine. Have some fun on the rides, eat lots of fair food and agriculture exhibits and animals. The

2. Go The National Baseball Hall Of Fame In Cooperstown

It's Hall Of Fame Weekend in Cooperstown. The annual Induction Ceremony scheduled for this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. is free at the Clark Sports Center. It will be broadcast live on MLB Network and many other media outlets. If you've never been to this event, we suggest you try it, at least once. You see tons of professional athletes, celebrities, national reporters and don't forget history in the making.

3. Attend 'Honor America Days' At Fort Stanwix In Rome

The parade starts at 10 am,  Saturday, July 29, on North James Street near Rome Memorial Hospital. See musical groups led by the Northstars, CNY Fire & Police Band, Upstate Independent Drum & Bugle Corps and Downbeat Percussion the official drumline of the Buffalo Bills, making their fourth appearance in the parade, with Island Band, LaBanda Rosa, the RFA Marching Band and more. The west lawn at Fort Stanwix National Monument is hosting the annual pops concert presented by Symphoria at 8 p.m. on July 29. The musical program will culminate with the traditional “1812 Overture,” John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes” with a fireworks show.

4. Go To The Great American Irish Festival

The Irish Festival is this weekend at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. Everybody's Irish at the Irish Festival. You'll see top notch entertainment all weekend on four different stages. There are two main stages, the regional stage, and cultural building stage. There's a wide variety of food, beer, wine, whiskey tasting, non-alcoholic drinks and shopping on the Emerald Isle.

5. Go To The Frankfort Fishing Derby

Grab the family, your fishing pole and go fishing at the Frankfort Fishing Derby on Saturday from 11 am-2 pm.  Prizes will be awarded to children 3 to 15 years old. Food and beverages are free to all. The Fishing Derby is held at Town of Frankfort Highway Garage, 1896 Albany Rd., Frankfort NY 13340
