Several water main breaks around the area the past few days are still causing headaches.  According to the Mohawk Valley Water Authority, the following locations are still being advised to boil water:

A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for:

- Deerfield Drive East, From Elmdale to Linda View Lane.

- Deerwood Road, From Fairwood Drive to dead end.

- Oriskany Blvd, From Elmwood Ave to 624 Oriskany Blvd.

- Gilmore Place from French Road to Rugby Road, including Quentin Road

Additionally, they give this note:

Following the restoration of water service, a boil water advisory will be in effect in the affected area for a minimum of 48 hours, or until tests show the water is free from contamination. During this time, customers are advised to boil their water for at least two minutes before using it for drinking or cooking.
