Bob Seger will issue a new album called I Knew You When on Nov. 17. The project's first single, a cover of Lou Reed's "Busload of Faith," is now being released to radio stations.

Seger is in the middle of his Runaway Train tour, and the news of I Knew You When's arrival coincides perfectly with his sold-out concert Saturday night at the Palace of Auburn Hills outside his native Detroit. He'll be on the road across North America through Nov. 17, when Seger wraps up at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. You can see all the dates below.

"Busload of Faith," which originally appeared on Reed's celebrated 1989 album New York, gets a small lyrical tweak in Seger's retelling. He replaced "churches" with "real estate" in this line: "You can't depend on the president, unless there's real estate that you want to buy." The Detroit Free Press has suggested that the barb is aimed at President Trump.

A few days before Seger's initial tour dates were revealed, a video was uploaded to his Facebook page that featured archival images followed by the words "One last time," with "Turn the Page" as a soundtrack. The clip prompted speculation that he may be considering retiring from the road, although there has been no official word from Seger.
