Remember when everyone was telling you in high school and college that drinking alcohol was killing brain cells? Well, turns out they may have been right. So if you were a big binge drinker, or know one the outlook doesn't look to good.

According to AllHeadlineNews.com a new study from the University of North Carolina heavy alcohol use by teenagers actually damages their brains and can lead to lower intelligence and impulsive behavior.

Researchers are concerned about young people drinking because a lot of brain development takes place between the ages of 12 and 20 and, of course, those are prime drinking years for a lot of kids.
