How many people can actually say they've had a celebrity in their car? Well, Sally Griffith, a driver for the ride share service Uber in Syracuse can. It happened this past Sunday, July 16th when she picked up 90's singer Sheryl Crow, along with her two children and her assistant. Griffith brought them to Destiny USA to enjoy some free time at Wonderworks.

Crow was in town to perform as part of the Outlaw Music Festival with Willie Nelson at Lakeview Amphitheater. She's also promoting her latest album, "Be Myself" - which is her 9th studio effort and was released in April.

Griffith told Syracuse.com, "she was so kind and just...wonderful". Crow was even generous enough to give her two free tickets to the show.

The pop star has sold more than 50 million albums and has won nine Grammy Awards for her 1993 debut album, "Tuesday Night Music Club". That album produced the singles - "All I Wanna Do", "Leaving Las Vegas", "Strong Enough", and "Can't Cry Anymore". All were top 30 singles, except for "Strong Enough" which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March, 1995.

So, if you want to meet a celebrity, maybe you should consider driving for Uber or Lyft.
