Big Brother Producers Broke The News To Frankie Grande That His Grandfather Passed Away

Big Brother/CBS

When you’re a contestant on Big Brother, producers do not inform you of things going on in the outside world. This season, that changed with some sad news for Frankie.

“Big Brother” producers broke the news to Frankie late Wednesday night that his grandfather passed away. TMZ reports that Ariana obeyed their grandfathers final wish and let Frankie continue on ‘BB” despite his illness.

This evening producers passed a note to Frankie from his family … which revealed the sad news. According to bloggers watching the ‘BB’ live feed — Frankie broke down in tears and shared the news with everyone else in the house. Some of the other house guests are crying too.”

The only other time that Big Brother has broken such a large news story to house guests was on 9/11.
