What an experience for the Rome Free Academy Acappella Choir Group, Fermata Nowhere. They'll perform 3 songs with award winner Barry Manilow.

The "One Last Time! Tour" makes a stop at Turning Stone Resort Friday, March 18 at 8 p.m. The legend will not only bring his team of 13 performers but will also include 30 Acappella Choir Group, Fermata Nowhere, and Select Choir students from Rome Free Academy (RFA). What a great experience for them. Performing with a Grammy, Emmy, and Tony winner isn't something that happens every day.

The "One Last Time! Tour" with Manilow looks for local choirs and asks students to sing with them at each tour stop. It's a once in a lifetime experience for students.

Parents are scrambling for tickets to watch their children sing at the Turning Stone Resort Casino Event Center. Peter Blake, Building Principal at RFA, said; "They are so proud of the students and glad they have this once in a lifetime opportunity."

The audition-based choir from RFA includes 26 9th-12th-graders and 5 alumni to reach the minimum number of singers needed. On March 18th at Turning Stone, the students will arrive at 4 pm for a sound check and rehearsal, then take the stage with Barry Manilow at 7:30 pm. The Rome Free Academy choir group will perform  “Copacabana,” “I Write the Songs,” and “It’s a Miracle.”
