There's nothing worse than watching a crash knowing someone or in this case 7 American crew members lose their lives. But still, we can't look away. I've had nightmare after nightmare of crashes like this happening right in front of me and what I'd do if I saw one, but someone actually caught crash of the 747 cargo plane at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan on tape with their dash cam and here it is. The best guess on a cause of the crash is that one of the five military vehicles it was carrying came loose and shifted to the back of the plane causing it to nose up and become completely uncontrollable. This matches up with my experience and is absolutely horrific. Human error accounts for most of the accidents that occur in the air. So, How safe is flying really?
