Bagel Head Is A New Craze. Wait, What?

Ok, I can get by the piercing and the tattoos, and it took me a while to through the branding and scarring, but it appears our Japanese friends have started a bizarre new trend in body art-- known as the "bagel head!" The look is created by injecting saline into the forehead until it swells up into a small mound.  The center of the swollen area is then pressed down with a thumb giving the appearance that the person has a bagel stuck to their forehead.  The process takes two hours to complete, but lasts just 16-24 hours, after which the saline is absorbed by the body and the forehead sinks to its normal size. I'm still having trouble trying to figure out why anyone would want to do this to themselves or look like this.  Hmmmmm?
