Red Pandas are on the endangered species list, and only 10,000 remain in the wild. However, the Syracuse zoo is fortunate to have a handful of them for you to love, and adore.

Ravi, and Amiya are the latest additions to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. Tabei and Ketu are the proud mom and dad to these cuties.

According to Syracuse.com:

Ravi and Amiya are not currently on display to zoo guests, but are inside nest boxes under Tabei's careful watch. Zookeepers have been conducting regular weight and wellness checks, and are observing the cubs daily. The new zoo babies have opened their eyes, and are mobile, but have more growing to do before they can go on exhibit.

Celebrate International Red Panda Day at the Zoo tomorrow. Kids can get their faces painted like a baby red panda, watch panda demonstrations, chat with the zoo keepers, and even have the opportunity to adopt a Red Panda.
