The Academy Awards are this Sunday, and people are placing bets and getting generally riled up about who will be taking home Oscars. If time has taught us anything, however, it's that it's best to keep your cool this time of year, because in like 10 years you are going to be seriously embarrassed about that 'American Beauty' movie poster you had in your bedroom in high school...
So this video does a pretty good job of summing up the PS4 press conference yesterday, if you didn't have several hours to spend watching streaming video about a new gaming console. Some people are excited. Others are underwhelmed. Still others are making memes, because this is the internet, and that's what people do. Here are some of our favorites.
Ugh, come on people. Kurt Cobain is trending pretty hard on Twitter today, since it's his birthday, but we doubt the authenticity of some of these "fans." Here are some dumb, dumb tweets dedicated to Cobain on his birthday. The news of Pope Benedict's resignation has got us feeling like it's 1415 all over again. HEY-O! Seriously, this is the first time a Pope has stepped down it nearly 600 years, so it's pretty big news...
Congratulations are in order for Ellen DeGeneres after last night's Grammys. She didn't win an award, but she did do something possibly better -- say what we were all thinking about Katy Perry's boobs. With her face. On camera. Take a look.
Camille and Kennerly Kitt are back, and this time they've gone dark. We've seen these identical twin harpists do the theme to 'Game of Thrones.' We've seen them do Zelda. We've even seen them cover Rihanna. Now they're focusing their attention on the Rolling Stones in this version of 'Paint It Black.'
