The Assassin's Creed movie has just welcomed two new writers into the fold.

According to Deadline, writers Adam Cooper and Bill Collage have joined the Assassin's Creed team and are rewriting the script for the film. The duo of writers have recently written the original draft for 'Exodus: Gods and Kings,' a film being directed by Ridley Scott and starring Christian Bale, as well as the script for Darren Aronofsky's film about George Washington, 'The General.'

There are no details about what direction they'll take the live-action Assassin's Creed film, which will star actor Michael Fassbender, but with the amount of great work they've been pumping out recently, it's exciting to think about.

Cooper and Collage are currently adapting the novel Devil in The Grove and penning a disaster movie called 'Shake' for Paramount pictures, but we'll update you more on any developments with regard to the story in Assassin's Creed.
