Don't be surprised if you see the 'Antiques Archaeology' van rolling down the New York State Thruway in the month of March 2015. Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz from 'American Pickers' will be in the Upstate New York region this month.

UPDATE 3/3/15 12:30PM - American Pickers Coming to Utica

The American Pickers crew will be filming in the Utica area, as part of their Upstate New York picking adventures. According to a Facebook post from the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce,

Utica is excited to welcome Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and Antique Archeology to the area. The team will film episodes of their hit series AMERICAN PICKERS throughout New York. Filming will begin next month.

The treasure hunters will be focusing their search on the Finger Lakes region around Canandaigua. The Rochester Business Journal reports,

Wolfe and Fritz are in search of “unique characters” with local antiques, according to the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce.

They look for items such as vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, vintage musical equipment, vintage automotive items, early firefighting equipment, vintage clothing and pre-1950s western gear.
