It's never to late to follow your dreams. An Albany mother and daughter enrolled in college together and will graduate with honors. 52 year-old Paula O’Neil and her 31 year-old daughter Chantel Batuk shared their inspirational story on Good Morning America.

After years of hard work, a severe car accident, GED classes, Paula and Chantel are both graduating from the University of Albany School of Social Welfare.

"My mom is so inspiring," said Batuk. "She's really a testament to me. It's never too late. Things are never out of reach."

It wasn't easy for O'Neil to return to school but she says she made it through because of the love and support of her family. "I was scared every single step but my family was walking beside me."

In recognition of their achievement, Turning Stone invited the deserving duo to visit the resort for a Forbes Four Star experience, including a stay in the Lodge, a day at Skʌ:nʌ́: Spa, and dinner at Wildflowers Restaurant.

O'Neil has one piece of advice for anyone thinking of going back to school. "Don't let your age, your circumstances determine your journey. It's not easy but it's an investment in yourself and I encourage others to take that step."
