Aerosmith Planning Surprise Show The Night Before The Election In Boston

Aerosmith is planning something special for election week. The group has announced their intent to play a surprise show next Monday (Nov. 5), a day before we elect our president. The idea is to rally their fans to vote and pick up their new album, ‘Music From Another Dimension’ on election day.

The group will play somewhere on the streets of Boston around noon on Monday. They’ll officially announce the location Monday morning once they get the thumbs up from the local authorities.

Perry recently declared himself “an old school Republican,” and presidential hopeful Mitt Romney claimed that Aerosmith was one of his favorite groups, but ultimately the idea of the rally is to get their fans to vote, no matter which candidate they support.

Aerosmith will resume their ‘Global Warming‘ tour with Cheap Trick on November 8th in Oklahoma City.
