A Glitch With Tom Cruise As Maverick In Top Gun 2?

As we heard in June Top Gun 2 is in the works, but it sounds like there could be a glitch with Tom Cruise playing Maverick.

According a Extra TV interview Tom says he wants to fly the jets again and he want's to figure this out. He is adamant about no computer-generated imagery (CGI). He also said the The Department of Defense needs to allow them to fly and film the F-14 as well. Tom Cruise says "it would have to be practical. I don't want any CGI jets. I want to shoot it like how we shot the first one."
