So do you ever play the game Farmville? You can plant grapes, corn, build barns, and own sheep all on the internet thanks to Facebook. Well apparently Farmville is ready to take it's farm to the big screen. A TV series/show based on Farmville is in development. Now you can waste time on a fictional farm in real life.

There really isn't much details out about this flop, I mean project. No network has picked it up yet. We do know two things though: 1) they're envisioning it as a half-hour animated show. 2) they have a director named Brett Ratner.

Ratner has worked on succesful projects like "Rush Hour", and now this director is teaming up with Six Eleven Media to produce an animated show based on the addictive Zynga social media game.

“FarmVille is one of the most exciting brands out there today and its cross-platform opportunities are endless. I am thrilled to be expanding the brand with existing fans and also engaging a whole new audience,” Ratner said in a statement.

I'm still betting it'll be a bigger flop then The Chevy Chase Show.
