96.1 The Eagle Wins Award From American Cancer Society

96.1 The Eagle has been a sponsor of Relay For Life in the Mohawk Valley since the very first event was held in Utica in 1996 at Proctor High School. That first year, we had 25 teams and raised $35,000.

Since then, Relay For Life has grown to take place in up to eleven locations over the years, including: Utica, Rome, Herkimer, Sauquoit, Whitesboro, Dolgeville, Remsen, Boonville, Camden, Utica College and Hamilton College. This year, Relay will raise over $750,000 for the American Cancer Society to help finish the fight against cancer.

96.1 The Eagle has been a proud supporter of the event across the Mohawk Valley throughout all of those 20 years!

96.1 The Eagle was presented a special award at the opening ceremonies of this year’s Relay For Life of Utica in recognition of our long-standing support in the fight against cancer.
