Are you planning on fighting the legendary “Left Lane Battle” on the thruway this holiday season? The left lane battle is when certain drivers insist on using the left lane for more than just passing. Well suit up with your armor because according to a new survey from Triple A, more than 90 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home during the Christmas holiday.

Of the travelers, 91 percent will drive, which Triple A said is tied to lower gas prices. That also could mean crazy drivers on the road so beware. Triple A also found that air travel will decrease nearly 10 percent over Christmas, due to costs and fewer seats. It may have something to do with not being allowed to play Words with Friends on a plane though, right Alec?
