5th Wettest June in Central New York History
Sick of the rain yet? Look on the bright side. At least we don't have to shovel it. Although it may not be the wettest month on record, June saw above average rainfall amounts according to the National Weather Service. Syracuse saw it's 4th wettest June since 1902 with a little over 7 inches. Binghamton climbs to the #5 wettest since 1951 with 8.52 inches. The average rainfall for June is around 3 to 3.5 inches.
