Sometimes we feel like having lunch for breakfast, and sometimes we prefer to eat breakfast for lunch. Good news! Central New York has plenty of restaurants that offer delicious brunches, and here are a few of our favorites.

If you're planning on having guests in town for the holidays, or if you're just wanting to escape for a couple hours with your friends and family, brunches are the perfect way to relax and enjoy some excellent food. Here are 3 of our favorite brunch spots in the Central New York area.

Bacon at Brewster's!

(6 Ledyard Avenue (Route 20), Cazenovia)

The Brewster Inn in historic Cazenovia offers a fantastic brunch that will leave you completely satisfied. Brunch is served buffet style, in a classy and elegant manner. Omlette stations, carving tables, and made to order Eggs Benedict are just a few of the features here. Creme Brulee French Toast is one of their trademark entrees, and it's guaranteed to be love at first at bite!

 Mimosa's at The Mission!

(304 E Onondaga St, Syracuse)

The Mission Restaurant meals are always served with a side of ingenuity, and comfort. If you're looking for different and delicious, The Mission is for you. Their Mimosa's are made with sparkling wine that's imported from Spain, and their French Toast is Dulce de Leche. In case you're wondering, that translates to "Caramel."  It also equates to one of the best French Toast's we've ever tried. Oh! Their breakfast burritos are incredible too.

Eggs at the Empire!

(120 Walton Street, Syracuse)

Malted waffles, Black Velvet, and Brunch Poutine; these are a few of our favorite things, and you can get them for brunch at Empire Brewing Company. The waffles are topped with bacon, the Black Velvet is a Black Magic stout mixed with sparkling champagne, and the poutine is flavored with 4 different kinds of Italian cheese. Empire features one of the most extraordinary, and diverse brunch menus we've ever seen.
