The three candidates for the 22nd Congressional District seat took part in a debate Friday morning on WIBX's First News with Keeler.

Republican Claudia Tenney, Democrat Kim Myers and Independent candidate Martin Babinec took questions on a number of topics during the 90 minute debate. including jobs, immigration and the second amendment.

Another hot topic that was addressed was negative campaigning in the race.

Tenney, Myers and Babinec are running for the seat currently held by Richard Hanna, who's stepping down at the end of the year.
