After a 911 call reporting a stolen car in Watertown, New York State police spotted the vehicle and began a pursuit.  Little did they know they were dealing with very young drivers, and speeds during the chase would reach 120 miles per hour.

There were two 14-year-old boys in the car, and the driver refused to stop once the trooper began the chase.  The teens were headed south on Route 81 and continued for nearly 15 miles.  Then, the driver tried to take Exit 40 and the car crashed into a guard rail.  He was taken into custody, but his 14-year-old passenger fled on foot.  The Watertown Daily Times reported that it took several hours for him to be captured.

The driver was treated for minor injuries at a Watertown hospital.  The names of the teens were not released due to their age.
