Jack Taylor had a game for the ages last night as he scored a mind boggling 138 points for Division III Grinnell as they beat Faith Baptist 179-104. The sophomore point guard shot 52 for 108 from the field, including 27 of 71 from 3 point range.

Taylor breaks the previous record of 113 points, which was eclipsed by Rio Grande’s Bevo Francis back in 1954. “I felt like anything I tossed up was going in” said Taylor, who was able to accomplish the feat in only 36 minutes of playing time.
