12th Annual Chilly Chili 5K Run/Walk

12th Annual Chilly Chili 5K Run/Walk will be held January 24th at 1 pm, in Cazenovia with all proceeds to benefit the Cazenovia Children's House.  

Registration is $30.00 for the hottest road race in the northeast, and all proceeds go to a great cause.The fundraiser brings together not only athletes for the certified 5k run/walk but also area restaurants competing for the “Best Chili in Town” award and “The People’s Choice” award.

The 5K starts at 1:00 pm, January 24th at the Cazenovia College Athletic Center on Liberty Street and finishes at the same location. The after party is at the Athletic Center in the Upper Gym with a Chili Cook Off featuring area restaurants.

Chili Cook-Off After Party includes:

• Live music,
• Festive beverages
• Plenty of awards
• Chili galore
• Race day festivities
• (ID required for beer tasting)
• Admission is free to race participants

• All guests of race participants will be charged a $5.00 fee to attend the party.
(Please be aware space is very limited, and race participants have priority admission.)

The annual Chilly Chili 5K Run/Walk is an event that continues to bring over 1,100 people to the community to join in a day of fun. The Chilly Chili Run kicks off the running season for CNY as it winds its way through the village streets offering a variety of terrain. From the experienced runner to the casual walker, this event is sure to be a day of fun for everyone. The Chilly Cook-off Party brings over 12 area restaurants together to compete for the “Best Chili in Town” award and “The People’s Choice” award. With live music entertainment, hot chili samplings, beverages, and the awards ceremony, it is a great finale to the winter road race.
