If you haven't made a New Year's resolution, follow the lead of 10 year-old Tyler Evans who is giving back. The Waterville boy used his birthday to help animals in Central New York.

Instead of gifts this year for his birthday, Tyler asked people to donate money or bottles and cans to raise funds for Spring Farm CARES' animals.

Tyler then started a fundraiser called Tyler's Tin Cans - "No job is too big, no can is too small."

6,400 bottles and cans later, Tyler raised $319.75. Over the Christmas holiday, he donated all the money to Spring Farm Cares, an animal sanctuary.

Everyone at Spring Farm Cares appreciates Tyler's generosity. "Thank you Tyler! You are awesome and the animals all thank you for sharing your big heart with them."

Tyler's next mission is to help the Wounded Warrior Project for his 11th birthday.

What's your mission this year?
